Aiko is a top-tier divorce lawyer who adores her new pet dog, Sakura. One day, while out on a walk, Aiko meets Kai, a young veterinary hospital director, also out walking his dog Shogun, a stray dog he took in a year ago. To their surprise, it’s love at first sight - for the dogs. Meanwhile, Kai and Aiko find themselves both befriended by, and sometimes at odds with Seo-ha, an heir to one of Korea’s largest corporations, who has come to Japan on a private mission. The dogs bring the three together to help them discover the true meaning of love.
